ASIS International, the security professional organization founded in 1955, started its 56th annual seminar on Tuesday, October 12th. The show is finishing up today, after four days of informational sessions and exhibits, featuring 800 companies and more than 20,000 individual security professionals. In that time, there have been several new and innovative products shown that could change the face of the security industry.Axis Communications presented Corridor Format video, which allows greater line-of-sight in hallways and staircases, ADT made more announcements about organizing the company into commercial and residential businesses and offering new bundles of integrated and video monitoring services, and the Datacard Group showed off a new printer (the Datacard SD260) which is used in the trade industries to print drivers’ licenses and corporate IDs.
