If you’ve ever wanted to learn more about this beneficial technology, you’ve come to the right place.CCTV was first used in Germany during World War II for observing the launch of V-2 rockets. The systems are still used today at launch sites to record flights and to detect causes of malfunction. However, according to Wikipedia, the technology first gained use in the security sector when the city of Olean, New York installed a CCTV network on its main business street. Logitech offers a new, easy-setup digital security system

On August 3, Logitech released its new Logitech Alert HD video security system. Despite the long list of modifiers, their new system is actually based around its simplicity and adaptability. The 750i Master System retails for 299.99, while the 750e Outdoor Master System (with night-vision!) starts at 349.99. These systems are HD cameras which you can easily connect to your PC and Internet to watch stored footage. Even better, the systems offer free remote viewing over a PC or Mac computer.Of course, one camera won’t be enough for most houses, so you can purchase as many add-on cameras as you like, starting at 229.99. There’s no limit to the amount of locations you can connect to your Master System, with up to six camera spots available at every location.
